Rare and elegant small oval shape Burmese jadeite bangle bracelet with carving. Size is 53 mm x 49 mm and 12 mm wide, fits like size 51 mm. The color is "hong" reddish-orange with darker green veins for contrast. Half of the bangle has raised carving, a cicada (immortality, spiritual realization and spiritual ecstasy) on one end of the carving, a dog (honesty, frankness and extremely loyalty) and flowers between. Well polished all around.

Purchased during YYJ shopping trip in China near the Burma border, directly from the jade carver in 2002. Tested by refraction, genuine Burmese jadeite. Very vintage, rare to find similar today and one of a kind.
